Section 01
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit it. They help the site work correctly, remember your preferences, and collect information about how the site is used.
Cookies are not programs — they cannot run code or carry viruses. They are simply small records that your browser stores and sends back to the website when you return.
Section 02
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies Always Active
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They handle things like remembering your cookie consent choice. They cannot be switched off because the site depends on them.
- Cookie consent preference storage (
cookieConsent) - Session management for basic site functionality
Duration: session or up to 12 months
Analytics Cookies Optional
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are most visited, how long people stay, and where they came from. The data is aggregated and anonymous.
- Page view and session tracking (e.g. Google Analytics, if enabled)
- Referral source tracking
Duration: up to 2 years (persistent)
Marketing Cookies Optional
These cookies may be set by advertising platforms to track visits across websites and build a profile of your interests for advertising purposes. We do not currently use these, but may do so in future.
- Cross-site visit tracking (if advertising is introduced)
- Ad personalisation data
Duration: up to 2 years (persistent)
Preference Cookies Optional
These cookies remember settings you have chosen, such as language or region preferences, so you do not need to re-enter them each visit.
- Language or regional preference storage
- UI setting memory
Duration: up to 12 months (persistent)
Section 03
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site may be set by third-party services we use. These include:
- Google Analytics — used (where consent is given) to collect anonymised usage data
- Advertising networks — may be used in future if paid advertising is introduced
These third-party providers have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns about how they handle data.
Section 04
Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies: these are deleted automatically when you close your browser. They hold temporary data needed only during your visit.
- Persistent cookies: these remain on your device for a set period after your visit. The durations for each category are noted in Section 02 above.
Section 05
