Documentation Work That Stays Useful

Iverra was built around one practical premise: operations teams need materials they can actually use, not documentation for documentation's sake. Everything we produce is designed to be read, followed, and maintained by the people doing the work.

— Our Story

How Iverra Came Together

Iverra started from a straightforward observation: many Malaysian operations teams spend significant time re-explaining how things are done — to new staff, to auditors, to colleagues in other departments — because those explanations were never written down in a form that travels well.

The practice grew from work in business process consulting and operations advisory, where the need for structured, maintainable documentation kept surfacing regardless of the industry or organisation size. In 2021, that experience was channelled into a dedicated offering focused purely on SOP materials — templates, workshops, and longer engagements.

We are based at Menara Worldwide in Bukit Bintang and work primarily with organisations across the Klang Valley and Peninsular Malaysia, with remote delivery available for teams further afield. Our approach draws on the print trade as a reference point — the craft of laying out information in a clear, ordered, reproducible form — because that is what good process documentation does.

The materials we produce are not sector-specific. The underlying logic of an SOP applies equally to a property management team, a logistics coordination unit, or an education administration office. What differs is the terminology, the level of detail, and the review cycle — and those are the details we work out with each client.

01

Our Mission

To help operations teams write down what they know, in a form that other people can follow — so that knowledge stays with the organisation, not just with the individuals who hold it.

02

Our Approach

We work alongside internal teams rather than writing documentation in isolation. The people closest to a process are its best source — our role is to structure and clarify what they already know.

03

Our Output

Every engagement ends with materials your team owns and can maintain. We avoid formats that require external involvement to update or expand.

— How We Work

Standards We Apply Across All Engagements

Every piece of work we deliver is held to a consistent set of principles — not as a checklist, but as habits built into the way we operate.

01

Plain Language Standard

All materials are written for the person who will actually follow the SOP — not for management review. We avoid jargon where plain language does the job.

02

Version Control by Default

Every SOP we produce includes a version history field. Teams can track when a document was last reviewed and by whom without needing a separate system.

03

Owner-Led Drafting

We do not write SOPs without the process owner in the room. The person doing the work provides the substance; we provide the structure.

04

Confidentiality Practice

Client process information is handled discreetly. We do not reference client organisations or share materials from one engagement with another party.

05

Handover Documentation

All programme engagements conclude with a written handover covering the library structure, house style guide, and update procedures — so your team is not left without a reference.

06

Appropriate Scope

We scope each engagement to what the team can maintain afterward. A library that is too large to keep current is less useful than a smaller one that is kept up to date.

— Context

Process Documentation in Malaysian Operations Contexts

Across Malaysia's business landscape — from Klang Valley service firms to operations-heavy organisations in manufacturing and logistics — there is a consistent gap between how processes are actually carried out and how they are formally described, if they are described at all. That gap tends to widen as organisations grow, take on more staff, or begin to operate across multiple locations.

Standard Operating Procedures are the most practical way to close that gap. When they are well-written and maintained, they reduce the dependency on individual knowledge holders, make onboarding more structured, and provide a reference point for when disputes or inconsistencies arise in how tasks are performed.

Iverra's work is focused on producing materials that are genuinely usable — written at the right level of detail for the people who will refer to them, structured in a way that can be updated without specialist assistance, and organised so that finding the right SOP takes seconds rather than minutes. That focus on practical usefulness is the thread running through every format we offer, from the downloadable template pack through to a full programme engagement.

For organisations based in Kuala Lumpur and the wider Klang Valley, we offer on-site work at your premises. For teams elsewhere in Peninsular Malaysia, remote formats are available and have been used successfully for workshop delivery and programme engagements across several industry contexts.
